The Revelation 

Chapter 1 Across the Century to Conquer

          1:1 The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,

        What is Revelation?  "It is to take a record of my revelation, my mystery. So that all may understand, I am the God who has powers over heaven and earth, I rule over heaven and everything in it, the earth and under the earth, and everything in between, " the Spirit of the Lord said.

Everything in the book of Revelation comes from the throne, the revelation given to Jesus Christ by the Father of Heavenly Lights. All nations, tribes, languages, and people; whoever hears this revelation, should be awakened, repented, and turned to the Creator of Heaven and Earth, the only true God!

        The revelation of Jesus Christ: The Spirit of the Lord said, "This revelation is the mystery of God, He is who He is. This revelation wrote down and spoke out the mystery that people never knew, and told everyone. This is the revelation about the Survival and Death of all people, the prophecies that will take place in the latter days. These things are trustworthy." In a vision, we saw a peeled cooked egg ^[1].

Which God gave him: The Spirit of the Lord said, "It was the Father who gave me, and the Father is the fountain of all revelations. As the Father tells me, so I tell you, I and the Father are one."

          The things that must soon take place: The Spirit of the Lord said, "This is the mystery of the whole book of Revelation. What’s the mystery? It’s like a globe that you have uncertainty of what it contains inside. It erupts through revelation and tells everyone. The worldly eyes cannot see through, but the spiritual person searches all things. God is Spirit, and He knows everything, therefore He tells the servants about the things that must soon take place: Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven has come near, and I will take you back to your heavenly home. "

           To show to his servants: The Spirit of the Lord said, "I will show My heart to the whole earth, and I will let the whole world know Me. The knowledge of the glory of the Lord is to fill all over the earth, like the ocean which is full of water. No matter who is the smallest to the greatest among you, you will know Me for who “I AM”. I will shake the earth and heaven. My lightning will illuminate the whole earth. My lightning is a sharp two-edged sword. Heaven and earth will pass away, and My words will not pass away.

          My words are a sharp two-edged sword. My sword has been driven into the ground. It pierces through people’s thoughts and intentions of the heart, and completes my purpose for everything in your life. I am willing to enter the holy heart, because I am holy. At the end time of the world, I will use many messengers who will become the prophets that shake the nations, they will pluck out all the things that do not belong to God and then plant things from the Father. "

           He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John: The Spirit of the Lord said, "I have sent a faithful and true servant, who follows in My footsteps and walks in the way of heaven, that is My faithful servant John. I told him all My thoughts and they are spoken out through his mouth, and written down by his hand. "

            “For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7 English Standard Version 2008).

           Angel: Angels (Acts 8:26); those who prepare the way for the Lord (Mark 1: 3). "Apostle" here refers to the angel (Revelation 22: 8).

           1:2 Who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.

          John has spiritual eyes like a telescope; his hands and mouth are like a magnifying glass. He has written in the Bible for everyone to see, like a movie, all mysteries are on this screen. Behold, for nothing is hidden from God, all are naked and open, because the time has come near.

          Even to all that he saw: The Spirit of the Lord said, "You must testify my Word faithfully, neither add nor diminish. This is My faithful messenger."

          1:3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it: The Spirit of the Lord said, "Blessed are those who preach this prophecy, and blessed are even more who act upon the words because My words are spirit and life. Those who see with spiritual eyes, listen with spiritual ears, and obey accordingly are My sons, My people… heavenly people who are blessed and will reign in the Heavenly Kingdom."

            For the time is near: The Spirit of the Lord said, "The date is near, because I am coming soon. The date for My judgment of the whole earth is near; the date for My redemption of the earth is near; and the date for Me to take back My inheritance is near. The date when I am going to marry My Bride is near; the date when the devil is completely defeated and thrown into the sulphur lake is near; the date when the people cheer for victory over evil is near; the date when the earth is redeemed is near; and the date when the nations are cheering is near. Heaven and all things in heaven, the earth and all things on earth, will cheer and praise, because the date is near!"

           In a vision: A big round ball. God lifted his people away first, then the fire rained down and burned the old ball. Everything on it was burnt and turned to paste. We saw people burning and grimacing in pain, crying and yelling, and finally they turned to ash. By then it's too late ... A brand new heaven comes, the sky is especially blue, the water is very pure, the mountains are particularly green, and the beauty is beyond description: This is the coming of a new heaven and a new earth.

        1:4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,

        The seven churches that are in Asia: The Spirit of the Lord said, "That was the holy place where I started, and here I sacrificed my son. ‘Seven’ is God’s perfect number, and ‘seven churches’ also represent all the Christian Churches on earth.”

          The Spirit of the Lord said, "Writing to the Seven Churches in Asia symbolises that all churches on the earth are blessed by Me. The message of the Little Scroll through John's mouth is My blessing. The earth will be filled with My Love. I love each of you and I love My church. I want everyone to understand the Truth, everyone to repent in the Light, repent in Love and repent in the Word. I want everyone to be a Victor and a Holy Bride, ready for the rapture."

          God has chosen these Seven Churches to be representatives. From a historical perspective, the Seven Churches in Asia typify the life of the churches throughout the eras, that is, the seven periods in the history of the church in the whole earth. From the horizontal perspective of the whole earth, the Seven Churches in Asia represent all who have heard the Lord. The epitome and enlargement of all churches that have heard of the Word of the Lord. It typifies the life status at different levels of those who heard of the Word of the Lord. These Seven Churches also presage the life status of all churches who have heard of the Word today. We can't help but marvel: this is the wisdom design of Heavenly Father, the power of God's word!

          All glory to our only Sovereign Lord, glorious great King! Hallelujah!

From him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne: The Spirit of the Lord said, "‘The seven spirits ...before his throne’ are My Spirit and My heart.  ‘Seven spirits’ represent my full power, anointing revelation and they are treasures of My body.  'Seven spirits' are also My seven eyes and they will search the whole earth. My Seven spirits will break the chains of the nations and break the heavy yoke that oppresses people. Where My Spirit is, there will be released. Come and meet Me! I AM WHO I AM. I am the Almighty who is and who was and who is to come. I myself am God; there is no god besides Me in heaven and on the earth. I am the only Sovereign Lord. " (Refer to Isaiah 11: 2)

         1:5 And from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood,

The faithful witness: The Spirit of the Lord said, "I am the one and only Son of God who is pure and blameless. There is no falseness or falsehood in Me, and My words are trustworthy. I testify to the Truth, I am the Truth. "

          The firstborn of the dead: The Lord Jesus died for the world, and the Spirit of the Father raised Him from the dead. He died for all, and the resurrection was for all. This is His obedience.

           "The power of the Father raised me first from the dead, therefore I became the first fruits. I will also lead many sons into glory. The power of the resurrection from the dead is in Me, and it has also entered in you today. You will bring the power of My resurrection, therefore the blind will receive their sight and the lame will walk, the dead will be raised up, prisons will be opened to release those who are bound and to proclaim liberty to the captives, to celebrate My jubilee year of grace. I Myself am the only eternal life Almighty God, " the Spirit of the Lord said.

        When the Lord said, "You will walk on the power of My resurrection, therefore the blind receive their sight and the lame walk, the dead are raised up ...", we saw in a vision:  a doctor wearing a white hat with a red cross on the hat.

        The ruler of kings on earth: Jesus is the Head of the kings of the world. He is the King of kings.

          In a vision: Jesus was standing on earth with many houses under His feet. He rules every nation.

         "I am the supreme God, I have power over the kingdom of man, and I reign over the kings of the world. Which one was not created by Me? The stars are in My hands, and I rule everything. The nations who are walking in My light, will look upon My light, " the Spirit of the Lord said.

         “But as for these enemies of mine, who did not want me to reign over them, bring them here and slaughter them before me”(Luke 19:27).

Grace to you and peace from him: The Spirit of the Lord said, "I am the God of grace and the God of peace. I am the King of peace who guides you on the path of peace. I give blessings, grace, and peace to the earth. Whoever is close to Me, I will give you My peace and grace. "

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (John 14:27).

           “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood: The Spirit of the Lord said, "I died on the cross because I love you, and have redeemed you with My blood as a ransom.  My blood not only cleanses your conscience, but also removes your acts that lead to death. My precious blood not only removes iniquity but it is also the fountain of blessing. I, the Lord who does good, will accomplish this. "

            1:6 And made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Made us a kingdom (“Kingdom” literally is “nation, king”): The Spirit of the Lord said, "The purpose of redeeming you is to fulfill you, to make you my holy people and a kingdom that cannot be shaken. In this kingdom are My holy people and My nation, who call upon My power. I have saved you from the power of darkness; I am willing to give you My kingdom, because of My abundant grace. You belong to Me. "

May glory and praise be to the God who sits on the throne, from now and forevermore!

           Priests to his God and Father: The Spirit of the Lord said, "You all be My priests, Jesus is the High Priest. What do you do as a priest? You bear the sin of the people and sacrifice in the temple, just like Moses and Aaron. I am your mediator, who is always interceding for you on the right side of the Father. I also need those of you, who belong to Me, to intercede for those on the earth who don’t know Me yet, so that I may pour out more grace upon the earth, and more people will be saved by Me. "

        “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” (1 Peter 2:9).

           To Him be Glory: The Spirit of the Lord said, “I am the radiance of God’s glory and the exact imprint of His nature, I myself am the glory; you who do My will are My glory, and you who live out My love are My glory. ”

           Dominion: He created heaven and the earth and He has dominion over everything. All things are under Him and belong to Him. All authority in heaven and on earth and under the earth belong to Him.

          In a vision: The Father handed the first bunch of keys to Jesus first, and Jesus sent them to those who were chosen.

          The Father gave glory and authority to His Son, and gave Him all authority of the heavens and the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.

           To Him…forever and ever. Amen.: Who is worthy of it all? Only the Lord Jesus. He himself redeems those who belong to Him from all nations, tribes, and languages with His blood, they will be the priests of God the Father and they will rule and reign on the earth. Only He is worthy of all glory and power for ever and ever. Amen!

         1:7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

           The Spirit of the Lord said, "I must come soon, this is true."

            Behold: Let there be seeing eyes and hearing ears.

He is coming with the clouds: The Spirit of the Lord said, " 1. Letter: As I ascend to heaven with clouds, I will also descend with clouds. The angels and heavenly army will descend with Me, and you will see Me as I am, there will be no chance of repentance by that time. "

            “Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.  And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure” (1 John 3:2-3).

            Testimony: 8 years ago, a 10-year-old boy belonged to our church. When he did exercises on the sports field in school, he saw words made of clouds in the sky “The time when there is great revival in China is the time of Christ coming again”. The child called his friend who was beside him to watch, but no other child could see, only this child saw it.

2. Spirit: “Cloud” means the Holy Spirit.

                The Spirit of the Lord said, "I have come already."

                We asked, "O Lord, when did you come?"

The Lord said, "I came a long time ago, and now my spiritual body is coming. When Pentecostal disciples pray, then I come when the Holy Spirit comes, My Spirit comes, then My heart comes to live in a holy heart.

I will show My glory throughout the earth; My light is coming. I will remove the darkness from the earth and irrigate and nourish the arid land with the water of My presence, to revive the earth and to resurrect all things. I am here to give life, and to give life more abundantly. I will lead My people into a New Heaven and a New Earth."

“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17).

The Lord also said, "I am the Comforter, the Mediator, and the Helper. People cannot see with the eyes of flesh, but only with the spiritual eye. I come to the church in the form of the Holy Spirit now, to cleanse the church with water and the Word, to prepare the Bride of Christ. "

“That he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, so that he might present the church to himself in splendour, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:26-27).

This is the coming of the Spirit, which is now and is the time for us to prepare for repentance; soon there will be the coming of the Lord as He is, then there will be no chance of repentance. The old world is being removed, the new world is coming! In a vision: The old world rolled away like smoke. All this is truly going to take place on the earth. God cleanses the world with fires, the old will be destroyed and the new will come with a new atmosphere: a New Heaven, a New Earth, a new Holy City.

Every eye will see him: Spirit:  "Everyone who has eyes sees Me. I open the Word and judge with the Word and when people understand, the heart will be brightened and the heart will turn to Me. Everyone who desires me will come close to Me. I will reach out and rescue him. My Word is opened, so that your minds can be opened and you can truly know Me, just like the two disciples who were on the road to Emmaus, " the Spirit of the Lord said.

“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you”(Ephesians 5:14).

“When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them. And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight ” (Luke 24:30-31).

Letter: "Every eye" is the peoples of the earth, and they have all seen it.

When everything is accomplished, all eyes of flesh will be opened and will see the Lord as He is. It is too late by that time, because there is no chance to repent. Therefore, we must humbly receive the Word of Judgment today, and receive the instructions from God's word.

Even those who pierced him: Spirit:  “‘Those who pierced him’ means all who resist the Truth. Those who wish to harm Me and hurt Me will see the great light of Mine. I will shine this light on him and he will turn back to Me, and I will heal him. O apostate children, come back! I will heal you!" the Spirit of the Lord said.

“But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, for anything that becomes visible is light” (Ephesians 5:13).

Letter:  “Those who pierce Me, those who spit in My face and resist Me will see. Those who are antichrists, unbelievers and people living in the darkness will see as well. However there is no chance of repentance,” the Spirit of the Lord said.

All tribes of the earth will wail on account of him: The Spirit of the Lord said, “ I have come to judge the whole earth. Everyone who sees Me will fear and tremble, but there is no escape. Those who see Me will wail on account of Me.  Who can escape the righteous and majestic judgement of the Lord?”

Spirit: The Spirit of the Lord said, “Once the Word has been opened, then judgement comes to everyone. Lying down the old-self is like pulling off the skin. Who is not wailing?” (Pour out the lusts in it, like vomiting bitter water.)

“For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? And “If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?” Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good” (1 Peter 4:17-19).

Letter: When we see His return as He is. The Holy Spirit described and said, “Ah, it’s all true! He is the true God; it’s true after all of this. Is it too late to believe in Jesus? You are the true God, the living God. Can you save me now?”

"The righteous still do right, and the evildoers still do evil. The gate is closed, and I take My Children home. It has nothing to do with them," the Spirit of the Lord said.

Even so. Amen.: The Spirit of the Lord said, "Truly, truly, My words are true. I am a faithful God. Blessed are those who hear and believe, the Bible has told you. And I tell you once again: blessed are those who hear and believe! "

Repent and reform now. Those who were unclear, confused, they knew God however did not find the right gate. When the Word comes today, quickly repent, then you can still be saved. Like the robber on the cross said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom”(Luke 23:42). And you can still go to heaven. If it is too late, you will fall into calamity.

Many people today have understanding in the mind, but are unclear in the heart. The Spirit of the Lord said, "Some churches preach every day, however still half of the congregation don’t understand; 80% don’t understand which is in the religious framework." In a vision: Many people of the church are still grasping things on earth, and still grasping worldly things.

1:8 “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

I am the Alpha and the Omega: The Spirit of the Lord said, "I was the one who created the heavens and the earth in the beginning. I am who is and who was before the creation of the world. I was the engineer who created all things. I am the Sovereign Lord of the world. I am also the one who judges the whole earth in the latter days. I hold the key and the good or bad of the earth are in My hands."

Who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty: The Spirit of the Lord said, "I AM WHO I AM, and I am the one who works in your life every moment. My years will have no end; I will take hold of the skirts of the earth with My almighty power. All that I speak, I will accomplish in My glory.

From the foundation of the world and to the end time, I am the Almighty God who will be the same. I am Alpha, I am Omega, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. "

1:9  I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

I, John, your brother: This is John speaking.

The Spirit of the Lord said, "My servants are just like you who will suffer and endure and be tested at any time in My Kingdom. The servants that I use must endure all kinds of suffering in My Kingdom. Those who are willing to enter the Kingdom of God must go through the path of the Cross, that is, tribulation, affliction and endurance, in order to be part of the Kingdom of God."

Partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus: The Spirit of the Lord said, "John said, 'I and you are the partner in the tribulation and the kingdom,  and we will all go through the tribulation and take the path of the Cross. Along the way, it takes a lot of Endurance, a lot of Devotion, a lot of Sweetness and Bitterness. '"

Partner in the kingdom and the tribulation and the patient endurance that are in Jesus. What is this ‘partner’? It is to reign together with Jesus and to rejoice in God’s grace in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus: The Spirit of the Lord said, "At that time John thought in his mind: Jesus and I will always be brothers. And my brother died in front of me, I will follow His footsteps, and I will bear all the tribulations for Him. Along the way, although there is pain and tears; and although I have been persecuted to the island of Patmos, I am willing to obey unto death. He is my Lord, my God .

Those who have followed me for life will be my brothers. John is my brother, my brother of the same Father. John is a faithful saint in the sight of God. God gave him a pair of eyes of the prophets. He was anointed by God, and his whole body and soul and spirit were anointed by God. God testifies the mystery through his mouth, and through his handwriting, which might be too marvellous for man to understand. Who has arranged for him to do God's work on this particular island? This is God's plan, which is accomplished for Him through Satan's hand. This is a wonderful arrangement. This is the mystery and the wisdom of God."

1:10  I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet saying,

On the Lord's Day: The Lord was with John at that time, it’s the Lord's Day and Emmanuel. From the day of the resurrection to the present day, it was Emmanuel, where there was the Lord's presence, there was the Lord's Day.

What is ‘the Lord’s day’ today? The Spirit of the Lord said, "The Holy Spirit is in you, and the Lord is with you. When God is with you, and when God is working, it is the Lord's Day. Just seek God and thirst for God every day, come before God and with His presence, it is called the Lord’s day. Being with the Lord every day, is the Lord’s Day. The actual Lord’s Day is the Lord’s return, with the Lord forever, and dwelling in the Lord forever. The Lord’s Day means in the Kingdom of Heaven. ”

The Spirit of the Lord also said, "Without the presence of God and the Holy Spirit, it is called sacrificial offerings to god." In a vision: Someone was burning incense, and there was an official sitting there and a big Buddha as well. The people from below were burning incense, and Jesus was not in them. This is called sacrificial offering to god. The upper part is the high place, and the lower part is a salty waste, where it doesn't build up life but buries the dead. It also refers to the framework and religion, which worships demons at the gate of hell.

Because many Children of God throughout the earth have great confusion and controversy about "days", we ask God's Spirit to have mercy on the church in the whole world and lead us back to the Bible to examine this Truth.

“Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb”   (John 20:1).

On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you” (John 20:19).

In CSBS (Chinese Standard Bible), “on the first day of the week” is translated as "morning of the first day of the week”, which is Sunday; "that day (that is, the first day of the week) in the evening," is translated as "that day, also It's the first day of the week, in the evening", Sunday night. Evening here is still the first day. Do you find anything here? When Jesus Christ, our Saviour was resurrected from the dead, it opened a new era for humankind: the Old Testament was "there is the night, and the morning is the first day", but after Jesus was raised from the dead, "there is the morning and the evening, it is the first day!" Hallelujah! The Old Testament starts from every evening (dark) every day, and the New Testament starts from morning (light) every day! The Old Testament began to worship God and rest in God only on the last day of the seventh day. After Jesus was resurrected from the dead, he led us into the Lord's Day from the first day. The Holy Spirit led us on a new and living path, with the Lord every day, entering into God's rest every moment.

After the Lord Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the seventh day,  "the stone had been taken away from the tomb" (John 20: 1). The stone represents the letter. The Lord said, "Remove the stone, and the living water flows." Taking away the stone (remove the letter) is to take away the veil of the Old Testament. In the letter, everyone died and became a tomb; but in the Holy Spirit, everyone lived. “For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians 3:6). If we still stay in the letter, it is still the stone and in the "tomb" or covered with veil. When Jesus was sacrificed on the cross, the rock broke, the tomb opened, and even the bodies of the sleeping saints in the Old Testament mostly rose up! From then on, when the stone was removed, the veil was taken away, and the true and living Holy Spirit led us into all the truth and into all the mysteries of God. This mystery is Christ, for in Father God the whole fullness of Deity dwells in him.

In short, "the Lord's Day" is the day of the Lord, the day of entering Christ. When your heart is fully turned to the Lord, it is your Lord’s Day.

I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day: Being moved by the Holy Spirit is being completely ruled by the Holy Spirit. On the Lord’s Day, God was with John, and the Holy Spirit had ruled over his thoughts and intentions of the heart, spoke God’s word and did God's work through his hands, eyes and mouth.

I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet saying: What trumpet?

The Spirit of the Lord said, "Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven has come near. This is the trumpet of judgment, the trumpet of vigilance and the trumpet that shakes the heart. When your heart is completely in me, you can hear the voice of the horn of God. Whoever has ears, let them hear."

1:11  “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

The Spirit of the Lord said, "These seven churches are my seven lampstands, therefore there are many angels I love in them, I use them as a metaphor for the churches to see. These seven churches are the screens, and the following is about to begin, which shows you one by one like a movie. Although these seven churches are imperfect, they all are the pearls on my palm and I love them. I have something to instruct them, which is the following. "

This is to tell old John: Write in a book all the words that he sees and hears, which is the message of the Revelation. Through this Revelation to judge the seven churches. When churches receive the judgment and reformation of the Word they will enter the command of glory; if they do not receive the judgment of the Word, they will fall into the circumstance of trials with the people of the world and into the last great calamity.

1:12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands,

I turned: No longer turned away from God. Throw away your old sigh and see with your spiritual eyes.

Seven stars: It means the messengers of the seven churches. (Refer to Revelation 1:20)

The word of God will judge the heart, judge the seven stars, judge the seven churches, and judge all mankind. “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no creature is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account” (Hebrews 4:12-13).

Seen in spirit, a glittering sharp sword came down from above, and shined on both sides; and saw another sword lying on the ground. The upward side was white and shiny and the downward side was black and not shiny (shining on one side means merely letter and no Spirit). The Spirit of the Lord said, "The messenger I use must first go through the judgement of the Word before he is qualified to judge the nations with me."

The word of God is a sharp two-edged sword, with shining letters and Spirit. Letters pave the path for the Spirit, which is the work of the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit reveals God’s will behind the letter. If the Bible (God's word) works without the Holy Spirit, it is like a dark covering, like a sealed book, or a closed spring. The Holy Spirit's work makes the word of God become a shining sword, and the living water nourishes the earth.

“Who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians 3:6).

The sword of Jesus Christ is the sword of judgment and the sword of victory! His sword has drawn from its sheath and will destroy all enemies; he has conquered and he will reign in Zion! He is the King of the whole earth!

His face was like the sun shining in full strength: The Spirit of the Lord said, "This is my image, this is my nature. My face is always shining, my brightness is dazzling and shining like the sun. The Lord is merciful and majestic. No matter how close you are to Him, you must completely lie down the old-self to see Him. Remove man’s purposes and thoughts, wisdom, discernment and fall before the Lord. Because the thoughts of God are higher than our thoughts, and the ways of God are higher than our ways. The one who sees God must be the one with a pure heart, and the one who has laid down the old-self. The one who has laid down the old-self, with a pure heart must see God.

He laid his right hand on me, saying: The Spirit of the Lord said, "The right hand is my strength and power. When I lay my hands on him, then he has faith, and I give him my power and faith. This is also my majesty which will enable him to speak through me. No one is afraid of him without me, no one can be convinced by him without me. I give him the power in order to speak through him. Without God's power, how will it work for Him?”

Fear not: The Holy Spirit said, “This is God’s comfort to him, ‘You see clearly, I am God, fear not.’ His gentle voice told John not to be afraid and when he heard Jesus’ voice, it reminded him of when Jesus was living in the world. He was a perfect man, and he was also a perfect God, and John remembered the time they lived together. At that time, they were brothers and John did not know that he was so powerful. When old John thinks of such a kind buddy and such a beautiful life they shared, then he is not afraid, but slowly wakes up and gets up. "

I am the first and the last: The Spirit of the Lord said, "Since the foundation of the world, I am God; before the foundation of the world, I am God; I am also the first and the last, the beginning and the end, I am the everlasting God."

This sentence is from Jesus to make John understand: He is God from the beginning to the end. Having said that, John understood who He was, and fully understood that He was the Son of God.

1:18 And the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.

And the living one: John knows that he lives in heaven. John witnessed when he was taken alive.

It's just like a movie in a vision: John opened his mouth and watched Jesus go up.

He is God, He IS WHO HE IS. And He is the Ancient of Days!

I died, and behold I am alive forevermore: This is the description of the Lord Jesus Himself, he is God and as God who lives forevermore. He died on the earth, and now lives again, and is from everlasting. And everyone on earth should know this. He endures forever, the world passes away, and He lives forevermore. He is the everlasting God.

“But of the Son he says, ‘Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,  the sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions.’ And, ‘You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end’” (Hebrews 1:8-12).

The keys: Represent authority. This is the authority that God gave His Son, and the Father gave him all authority. He sits at the right hand of the Father in heaven, and reigns with the Father. The key can save people, "the key of death" refers to those who are struggling on the borderline of death but if they understand the word of God, confess and repent, then they still can be saved and alive. "The key of Hades" refers to those who have reached to the edge of death, to the gate of Hades. When they saw it was Hades, if they cried out to Jesus quickly, Jesus still opened the door to them and saved them.

In a vision: A big black hole in hell, walking inside and seeing a black door, and when he entered the first door, he cried Jesus ... Jesus ... Jesus could still save him.

The Spirit of the Lord said, "Jesus can still save those who have a confession of heart and cry out to Him when they see the Hades and do not want to go inside. No matter who they are, as long as they call Jesus the moment they close their eyes. Whoever sins, as long as he cries out to Jesus when he closes his eyes and is about to die and even if he has entered the door, and soon will go inside. These are all saved by grace, a firebrand plucked out of the burning. "

1. He is able to ransom us from the power of Sheol and Death. (Refer to Hosea 13:14)
2. He has the authority to destroy Death and Sheol. (Refer to 1Corinthians 15:26; Revelation 20:14)
3. He has the authority to draw back those who are on the verge of death. He has given us the authority and mission to save people today. He has given us a humble heart and a soul-loving heart. Now we take on the mission to go with Him to hold back and rescue those who are on the verge of death.

“Rescue those who are being taken away to death; hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Behold, we did not know this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it, and will he not repay man according to his work” (Proverbs 24:11-12)?

The Spirit of the Lord said, "A life raised from the dead has authority, and this is the authority that the Father gave him.

Today, I have given you authority to preach the gospel to all people, and to be my witnesses. I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions. "

“And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me” (Matthew 28:18).

While observing the splendour, majesty, and glory of Jesus, every scene in John's spirit seemed like a movie, and he wrote down every scene.

Those that are: Refers to the content of the seven churches in the book of Revelation Chapters 2 and 3.

The Spirit of the Lord said, "The Revelation is the last alarm, also the last judgment, and the last salvation."

And those that are to take place after this: Refers to the content of Chapters 4 to Chapter 22 of the Revelation.

The Holy Spirit said, "It was foretold long ago, and it is about to be accomplished now: It is the Kingdom of Heaven that is coming and the things that Jesus Christ is going to accomplish as Jesus will be coming soon. Therefore He asked John to write everything that is to take place, in order to awaken people’s mind, open the spiritual eyes and to no longer look at the world, but prepare oneself to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of Heaven is the home of the Son of God, also the house of God, and the house of the children of the Lord. That is what will take place after this."

Some people have not yet opened their spiritual eyes and are still striving for food, drinking, power, and status. Can they enter the Kingdom of Heaven? Every move must have the likeness of newborns in the Spirit, and they must live in complete holiness like Him, in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. “From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force” (Matthew 11:12).

Therefore, wake up again and again and be prepared! 1:20 As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
